Tonight, your Oakland Raiders will be hosting the Los Angeles Rams for an exciting preseason game. Kickoff from Oakland Alameda Coliseum will be at 7:00 p.m. PT. KCBS will have the local telecast in the Bay Area. The available live streams can be found on NFL Game Pass and FuboTV.

This is an important game for the 2017 Raiders. It will be the first time the Silver and Black will play at home this season. The last time the Raiders played in front of the home crowd, it saw star quarterback Derek Carr fracture his fibula. While Carr is back to good and ready to rock this fall, he has yet to play in a game since that season-ending injury.

Fortunately, he will play against the Rams tonight because Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio said so. Coach Del Rio expects the healthy starters to play at least a quarter, possibly a series or two in the second quarter before giving way to the reserves.

Oakland is coming off a tough first preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals last week. Though the final score was only 20-10 in the exhibition contest, it was not particularly close, as Arizona dominated all 60 minutes. Look for the Raiders to play with more conviction in front of the home crowd  tonight.

It won’t just be Carr making his season debut for the Silver and Black this evening. High-profile free agent acquisition in Oakland native Marshawn Lynch will play for his hometown Raiders. While he dressed out versus the Cardinals last week, he did not participate in the first preseason game for Oakland. Expect him to get a handful of carries in his first game with the team.

Los Angeles is coming to Oakland off a low-scoring win over the Dallas Cowboys last week, 13-10. Their second-year starting quarterback Jared Goff barely played. Most of the snaps went to his backup Sean Mannion. Expect to see more out of Goff tonight, as he tries to move the sticks on this Raiders defense.
